My Backyard. Patio Pots

An 8x8, Oil. Another in My Backyard series. Am so enjoying the outdoor painting. I have maybe 15 or so ceramic pots that I fill every spring. They last all summer until the first frost in the fall. I was able to get this one done a couple of weeks ago. I'm not really into digging into the dirt in the ground, but really enjoy filling pots with flowers, grasses and vines. Every year I go to my favorite nursery and pick out random things that I like. The back patio has a different look each year! Had strong light coming in from the left, I like the shadows in this one. Thanks for looking.

My Backyard, Wisteria Arbor

An 8x10, Oil. This is the first in a new series I have decided to do. Scenes of my backyard. I have been wanting to do more outdoor painting and with this beautiful sunny fall weather....what better excuse to get outside and paint is there?! This is one of my favorite spots in our backyard.  Those sturdy Adirondack chairs are sooo comfy. Made by an elderly gentleman. The area to the left is the remains of a garden that my husband plants every year. Wanted to convey the bright, crisp, sun shiny fall day, the deep shade under the arbor and dappled sunlight. Thanks for looking.

Romans 12:7-13
"Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fever, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with the Lord's people who are in need. Practice hospitality."

Exodus 23:3
"Do not follow the crowd in doing wrong. When you give testimony in a lawsuit, do not pervert justice by siding with the crowd."
