30 Day Challenge, Weathered Boat

An 8x8, Oil of a wonderful old boat pulled up on the beach. Another addition to the 30 day challenge put on by Leslie Saeta. The challenge is to paint 30 paintings in 30 days. I am a few behind....but that's ok! I'm having a blast being a part of the challenge..motivated...inspired by all of the other artist's entries.  I was inspired by  Leslie Saeta to use a palette knife for this painting as well as painting a boat. Boats are her favorite subjects. The texture that a palette knife achieves is wonderful. Thank you for looking.
