American Flag

Happy 4th of July! This is a day to remember how blessed we are as Americans with all of the freedoms and liberties we have in this great country. Let's be sure to protect these freedoms! Thank you to all the military men and women who serve our nation.
Just finished this one. Waiting for it to dry and then will frame it. This painting was fun to do, creating the look of the waving flag, up close, and the different colors to create the shadows. This painting was done on commission for a dear friend of mine I work with. I will be framing it in a black chunky frame to contrast nicely with the red, white and blue colors of the painting.
